Maria Millan is a London-based photographer. She studied Mass Media and Audiovisual Art and has a background in film and television commercials where she used to design and build sets. Millan moved to London in 2011 and started working as an Art Director for different production houses and shooting stills for numerous English and American magazines as well as working closely with designers. Her work was featured as part of the ‘Contemporary Art Fair 2012’ in Beijing, China.
Additionally, her images have been included in the ‘Story of Creativity’ (2012) and ‘Creative’s rising’ (2013) exhibitions in New York City. Millan is usually the creative director for her shoots but she also likes to dress the set and takes time to direct models.
